At 5:26 a.m. on August 19,2000, an explosion occurred on one of three adjacent large natural gas pipelines near Carlsbad, New Mexico. The pipelines supply consumers and electric utilities in Arizona and Southern California. Twelve people, including five children, died as a result of the explosion. The explosion left an 86 feet long crater. Subsequent investigation of the pipeline indicated that corrosion was a factor in this pipeline failure and explosion. http://ops.dot.gov/carlsbad/Photos/photo.htm, July 9, 2002 Do you have a corrosion
